Mlp-FiM Pinkie Pie & Discord Short Fanfic.


"I Do Care... I Care For You."



"This is a great and sunny morning for a nice ponywalk." said Pinkie Pie walking downstairs in the Sugarcube Corner, "Where shall I begin my fantastic day?!". When she came down, Pinkie started thinking.

Until she jumped so high and said, "OOH! I know! I'll go to the Canterlot Sculpture Garden! I love to see those great pony statues in the fresh morning."

She ran out of the Sugarcube Corner and hopped all the way to the Sculpture Garden. It turns out that the garden was just about to open, so she became first to visit there.

The gate swang open and Pinkie Pie walked in, "Woo, great! I'm here first." she said with pride.

"Good Morning, Pinkie Pie." A pony Guard said.

"Good Morning!" Pinkie waved.

After a while, Pinkie enjoys her fresh and beautiful morning, until she remembered something when she walk further into the Garden...

"It has been a long time since I've been here. A year, if I can remember it well..." She looked around the statues that can refresh her memory.

"Wait, I know!" she said to herself, "It's a year ago that my friends and me defeated Discord! I wonder where he stands?". She continued walking, until she found his pillar, but his statue was gone!

"Huh?!" Pinkie gasped, "Where did he go? Is his statue gone?! Or... Did he get revived?!".

Pinkie looked into the sky, just in case there were cotton candy clouds. Instead of what she's looking for, she heard something. A sad sound... A sniffing sound...

"Who could that be in the early morning?" Pinkie thought.

She looked over the corner, and she saw somepony that she never thought of seeing him back again... Discord!

He came back to life, broke down his curse... but something seems different than before. Pinkie saw tears rolling down his cheeks... Discord was crying! Pinkie couldn't believe it. Discord, the god of Chaos, showing sad emotions that nopony has ever seen upon him.

She stood there, looking at Discord, wondering why he's sad.

"Those cursed ponies..." Discord whispered, "They don't know me..."

Pinkie Pie moved quietly toward him, until she touches his tail. Discord felt it and looked.

"You..." Discord said.

"Why are you crying, Discord? Why are you sad?" Pinkie Pie asked him.

Discord didn't knew how to answer, but instead he yelled, "I don't need your sympathy!" and swooped his tail away from Pinkie.

"Discord, I want to help you..." Pinkie said.

"I don't want your help, I don't need anypony!" Discord turned his back away from Pinkie and hid his face behind his paw and claw, "Go away! Leave me alone!".

Pinkie Pie walked around him, "Why do you want to be alone? Being alone is one of the worst feelings ever."

"Everypony hates me! I can still hear them!" Discord whispered.

Pinkie knew then why he was crying. When he was turned back into stone a year ago, he could still hear everything around him. All ponies talked about him badly and called him bad names, insulting him without anypony knowing it that he can hear it.

"Nopony cares for me..." Discord whispered softly. Pinkie Pie stood at front of him, and couldn't stand it anymore to see Discord this sad.

Pinkie lift her hooves up and slowly removed Discord's paw and claw away from his face, "That's not true, Discord." she said with tears in her eyes.

They both looked straight into each others eyes...

"Who pony would care for me? I, Discord, the god of Chaos. Tell me who would care for me..." Discord asked.

"I do care... I care for you..." Pinkie confessed with a little smile and tears rolled down her cheeks.

Discord didn't respond on that... "I don't believe it… She really mean it..." He thought.

"I cared for you since the very beginning. But I never told you about it, because I was afraid what my friends would think of me." Pinkie said.

"Why do you care for me, Element of Laughter?" Discord asked her.

"Because you made me laugh and smile, Discord." Pinkie said with a smile, "You make me happy."

At long last, Discord showed Pinkie a smile upon his face, and he knew that Pinkie Pie was telling him the truth.

"Can we start all over again, Discord?" Pinkie Pie asked him, "I really want to be your friend. And you'll never be alone without me here."

"Yes, we can, Pinkie." Discord said.

"Great!" Pinkie Pie said and jumped up to hug Discord. He was surprised of her action, but decided to hug her back.

After so long, Discord has found the perfect friend for himself... To smile with... To laugh with... To be a friend with forever.
